Q.  What kind of commitment is it on my part as the parent?
A. A series of sessions lasts 14 days with 80 minutes of listening each day. These sessions are performed at home with TALKSUP®. You will need to turn it on for your child and check in to make sure they are wearing it appropriately.

Q. What can my child (or I) do durning the 80 minutes?
Listening sessions are an excellent opportunity to share a moment with the child when life is so frequently busy. Try to plan activities that they enjoy such as painting, drawing, building blocks, or Lego® construction. Conversely, for some children, this may be an opportunity to go into their “bubble” and have a few moments alone.

Q. What shouldn't my child do during sessions?
A. Avoid chewing gum or snacking during sessions.  Avoid watching screens (TV, computer, or phone).  Avoid doing sessions while you are travelling (in a car, bus, or train).

Q. What happens if we miss a session or two?
A. It is not the end of the world to miss a session or two, life happens, however for best results you want to minimize missing days and be as consistent as possible.

Q. How long will the entire program take?
A. The number, duration, and the type of material covered during the sessions are customized to your listening profile and your program goals.
