I Am Not Dumb, I Am Dyslexic is a book written specially for the dyslexia community. This book contains a comprehensive discussion of the 3Ds (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia) to educate society about these common learning differences. This will also benefit parents who are navigating through any of these 3Ds for the first time.

Moreover, this book is a source of inspiration for all individuals struggling because of a learning difference. In this book, Jess Arce recounts her journey of becoming a successful dyslexic entrepreneur and gives meaningful pieces of advice on overcoming struggles and achieving success.

FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...

"A personal and thoughtful look at what it is so be one of the 3 D's. Jess takes time to incorporate her own personal experiences and triumphs along with research and tips to help support your children as they navigate their dyslexic world and find their own educational rhythm. As a homeschooler with dyslexia and with dyslexic children, I appreciated her insight and recommend this reflective guide."
-Kate H., Masters in Curriculum, Former Public School Teacher, Current Homeschool Teacher and fellow Dyslexic
"Jess Arce’s book, I Am Not Dumb, I am Dyslexic, is a great read for any parent or educator that is new to dyslexia. It gives an excellent, comprehensive, overview of the signs that parents/educators and families need to look for in their child or even adult in their family. By being aware of the signs, we can implement treatment at a much earlier age. This book is an excellent resource that lists signs, symptoms, and most importantly, strategies for success. My son, Samuel, has benefited from her structured approach and I am thankful for her and her program. I will be recommending this book to my staff of educators! "
-Susan S., Current Lexia Learners Client and Assistant Principal in Virginia
"They say children don’t always listen to what we ask them to do but they almost always do what they see us doing. Do we want our kids to see us criticize them, belittle them, and label them as not so smart, too slow or too distracted to learn, stressfully hyperactive or a bit lazy to put in a good effort, etc? Or do we want to help our kids learn that they are no less than others and that they simply have a neurological condition called Dyslexia? And that as long as they are willing to manage this condition, they too can become the best version of themselves? Why? Because our children are way more than capable of bringing to the surface the infinite potential that is locked up within them. If I may allow me to remind us that how we talk to our children becomes their inner voice. This inner voice can be that of the harshest citric or that of the best cheerleader. The choice is ours. And that is exactly where this wonderfully educative book that Jess has written empowers us, the parents, and the educators alike. Once we are educated, we can make the right, informed choice that can empower our children, and thereby our future generations and the leaders of the future. In my humble opinion, what gives Jess the utmost credibility as an author in writing this book is that she is an insider. She isn’t simply describing the challenges lived by her Dyslexic students, instead, she is someone who has lived through Dyslexia herself as a child, as a mother, as a wife, and as an educator. Let’s together help Jess live her mission of educating society on these manageable neurological conditions so that our kids can have healthy self-esteem and live the empowered life of their dreams. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude Jess for devoting your life to this critical and meaningful work. You are making a big difference in the lives of our little ones!"
-Pradnya Leitner, Mindset Coach for Purpose-driven Entrepreneurs and Individuals
